Find answers to common questions and learn how to get the most out of your Artguide account.

myguide is your personalized guide to the art world, allowing you to keep track of the exhibitions and venues you want to see in any city in an easy to navigate map. Save shows you don’t want to miss, keep track of what’s happening around the world, and map your visits with ease.

You may save an exhibition or venue to your myguide by clicking the “+” button in the upper righthand corner of a listing’s image or the “+ myguide” button within a listing. Click “-“ or “– myguide” to remove it from your myguide.

Visit your myguide page by clicking the “+ myguide” button on the far right of the main nav bar. Your saved results will be organized by city but you can filter by a specific location by entering the name of your desired city in the search bar or click the drop-down menu on the search bar to select from the available options.

Exhibitions

Enter the name of your desired city in the search bar or click the drop-down menu on the search bar to select from the available options.

Once you’ve chosen a city, scroll through the listings page or use the page numbers at the bottom of the screen.

From the available listings you can filter all the exhibitions by “On View Now”, “Forthcoming”, and “Closing Soon” by clicking the corresponding button above the search results. Major cities have a secondary drop-down menu that allows you to filter venues by neighborhood.

Click on the “View Map” button to display the locations of the results on a city-wide map. Click on the plus sign in the upper righthand corner of an exhibition image to add it to your myguide.

To learn more details about an exhibition, click the exhibition image or the bolded exhibition title. On the exhibition page you will find all the available information about the show, including the run dates and description. If available, click “press release+” to view the accompanying press release for the exhibition. If the exhibition has multiple preview images, you can click the numbered tab at the bottom righthand corner of the exhibition image to open a carousel of available images.

Events

Visit the events page on the nav bar to browse current and upcoming events around the world. Enter the name of your desired city in the search bar or click the drop-down menu on the search bar to select from the available options. Once you’ve chosen a city, scroll through the listings page or use the page numbers at the bottom of the screen.

You can filter the search results by “Event Type” (i.e.: panel, symposium, etc.) by selecting a field from the “Search Event Types” dropdown menu. Major cities have a secondary drop-down menu that allows you to filter venues by neighborhood.

From the available listings you can filter the events by “All”, “Today”, and “Forthcoming” by clicking the corresponding button above the search results.

Click on the “View Map” button to display the locations of the results on a city-wide map.

To learn more details about an event, click the event image or the bolded event title. On the event page you will find all the available information about the event, including the date and description.

Venues

Visit the venues page on the nav bar to browse art venues around the world. 

Enter the name of your desired city in the search bar or click the drop-down menu on the search bar to select from the available options. Once you’ve chosen a city, scroll through the listings page or use the page numbers at the bottom of the screen.

Use the secondary dropdown menu to filter venues by type: Art Fair, Auction House, Gallery, Museum, or Special Event. Major cities have a secondary drop-down menu that allows you to filter venues by neighborhood.

Click on the “View Map” button to display the locations of the results on a city-wide map. Click on the plus sign in the upper righthand corner of an exhibition image to add it to your myguide.

To visit a specific venue’s page, click the venue image or bolded venue title. (To select a venue from the map view, click its pin.) On the venue page, you will find all of its available information, including address, web address, and hours of operation.

Scroll down or click the “exhibitions & events” tab on the venue page to see the venue’s current and/or upcoming exhibitions and events on the page, if available. You can also click to see a list of the venue’s previous exhibitions.

Must See

Visit the must see page on the nav bar to browse a selection of exhibitions specifically highlighted by Artforum’s editors. 

The results will be organized by city but you can filter by a specific location by entering the name of your desired city in the search bar or click the drop-down menu on the search bar to select from the available options.
