Gabriel Abrantes, Claudia Pagès Rabal: Contour Biennale 11

TACK TICK, the new contemporary art space developed by TICK TACK (Antwerp), co-hosts Contour Biennale 11, ‘The Eyes of the Heart and the Soul of the World‘, alongside Kunsthal Mechelen. Curated by Sofia Lemos, the biennale runs from 5 September to 1 November 2026 across heritage and cultural sites in Mechelen. The Biennale is one of only two biennales in Europe dedicated entirely to moving image, and has grown into an internationally acclaimed platform for artists working in film, video and time-based media. For the opening of the new space, Contour Biennale and TACK TICK present two site-specific video installations, by Gabriel Abrantes (1984, USA) and by Claudia Pagès Rabal (1990, Spain).
