For almost twenty years, Cuban artist Carlos Martiel has dedicated himself to a highly confrontational performance practice, often exploring anti-Blackness, migration, and his Cuban-Jamaican identity. In addition to installed documentation of key works and a new series of drawings, Martiel will score three new live performances on September 19, October 8, and December 10.
